Cecelia Louise Garner has been identified as the woman who was found at the Abell's Wharf recreational area in Leondardtown after a body was located on the sand near the water's edge.

Detectives from the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene on Saturday, where they found Garner, though there is no evidence of foul play, investigators noted.

Garner's body was transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for an autopsy to determine the exact cause and manner of her death after she was identified.
